Meet the Photographer
ON A MISSION TO CHANGE THE NARRATIVE
I am a French-American photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. I was born and educated in France. I moved to the United States in 1991 to complete a M.A in journalism (1993, University of Arizona).
I have kept my French accent since then.
Early in my career, I worked as a photojournalist, freelancing for major news agencies. In 2016, I had my “climate” epiphany moment after climbing Mont Blanc in the French Alps and witnessing the tragic retreat of Mer de Glace, the largest glacier in France. Moved by this experience, I decided to refocus my work on issues of ecology and the sustainability movement. In 2021, I received a fellowship from the Blue Earth Alliance for my long-term project, Lost in Sight.
At the core of my work is the desire to amplify the voices for change. I am rooted in the belief that the current climate crisis and the underlying environmental issues require a behavioral and cultural shift. I am interested in working with brands and organizations who care deeply about their social and environmental footprints and in helping them expand their impact.
